TransferWise — Growth Design
Managing a team of eight UI and UX designers in London and New York, I was in charge of defining the global strategic vision for Marketing Design and acquisition projects across many mediums. I was accountable for online and offline design output, as well as mentoring and developing the team.
Highly focused on growing the user base, my team worked on customer acquisition projects for the existing product and the new borderless account. Supporting our Performance Marketing, Scalable Acquisition and Product Marketing teams, we grew the customer base from one to five million users. Touchpoints included marketing and brand campaigns, as well as SEO products such as currency converters, bank code checkers, landing pages and blogs. Our ads for Instagram Stories were featured as a Success Story by Facebook for Business — and our New York City subway ads even caught Adweek’s attention .
Responsible for the UX/UI of the global website and the onboarding experience for customers on web and mobile, we constantly conducted quantitative and qualitative research as well as brand lift studies in order to increase conversion.
